POLE DANCING CHALLENGES from ADVENTURES in POLE FITNESS BLOG by SuperNad:

This month I went for a Florida visit, including some pole classes at my old studio-Pulse Alternative Dance and Fitness. The owner/instructor had studied with the fantastic Jenyne Butterfly in Las Vegas. She brought back pole competition tricks to teach back in Florida. I was very excited to see and learn some of the moves. They are very challenging and require a lot of core and upper body strength and flexibility- a perfect example of why pole fitness is such a great total body workout!
Jenyne Butterfly is one of my favorite pole dancers (see her website www.jenynebutterfly.com)

Pictured above is one of the competition moves I learned called the "Twisted Hand Grip."

Counting down the days for my next visit!
