POLE DANCING and POLE FITNESS from PALM BEACHES TO RHODE ISLAND!!
This article was written by "Supernad" who was taking pole dancing and pole fitness classes at Pulse here in Florida before she moved to Rhode Island. We miss her..:) Thanks for the article Nad!
It's about time that I write about my life as a Goddess and pole fitness student/instructor.
Pole Fitness- quite possibly the best upper body and core workout I have ever experienced. I decided I wanted to try pole fitness just as quickly as I had decided to sell sex toys. I literally “Googled” pole fitness for RI and with it came about 12 strip clubs and 1 actual pole fitness studio. I called and showed up for a class and have been going ever since. The owner of the studio has the body of an extremely fit 25 year old (which is literally half her age!). She is an amazing pole fitness instructor and a great person. Her personality can be heard from across a room and she is open to everyone. She has powerful vision for female empowerment and openness. Her positive influence on women is addictive. Myself, and others who have started taking and teaching classes at the studio all feel it as soon as we enter the studio. It’s a great way to live.
The studio’s location was upgraded to a larger space last summer and offers more alternative dance classes such as chair dancing, sexy salsa, Zumba, bellying dancing, pole-ates, yoga with pole and 3 different levels of pole fitness. The owner also rents out the studio space for bachelorette parties or other special occasions. The studio participates in breast cancer and other female-related charities. She also integrates and advertises my sex toy business along with her studio events- and will do this for anyone’s business relating to her vision. This studio has really changed my life. I actually sought out a pole fitness studio when I was living in West Palm Beach a year ago- a much easier thing to find in Florida versus finding it in the more uptight New England area!

A Over the course of this New Year- one of my mission's is to explore pole-to-pole art from around the world. I have seen and briefly studied South Florida styles with the LA influence. I will be collaborating with the owner of the pole studio where I studied in Florida- I will be posting her blog entries as well. This summer I will be part of the instruction/learning for a pole fitness "boot camp."
In a month I plan on studying some pole fitness in Australia- with plenty of details and pictures to come! Very excited for this endeavor as Miss Pole Fitness Australia exceeds pole fitness excellence.
See you next month!

POLE DANCING IN THE OLYMPICS 2012??
May not be all that impossible. For us, pole dancing enthusiasts, it sure would be nice to see.
I remember signing a petition last year when I was in California. I do have to agree with the article somewhat that lot of details have to be worked out before POLE DANCING would officially become an Olympic sport. At the same time, dreaming of an Olympic Medal in pole dancing may not be all that impossible for some of you I know out there...!
